FAQ - All you need to know in the run up to Christmas
We are well and truly getting into the festive spirit here at Social Stories Club HQ! Christmas orders are flying in and the warehouse is buzzing with activity. With us fast approaching the Christmas countdown, we thought it would be helpful to write this blog post answering some of the most FAQ we get around the festive period, from delivery times, receipts to personalisation and dietary requirements.
Placing an order with Social Stories Club
What dietary requirements can you cater to?
All of our gifts are vegetarian but we also cater to a range of dietary requirements including vegan and halal. We also offer nut-free, gluten-free, and lactose-free gifts however please note all of our gifts are packed in a facility that handles and stores other products containing these allergens.
Will my gift include a receipt or price?
Your receipt will only be emailed to you, we do not include receipts or invoices with the gift boxes so the recipient will not see the price.
Can I send multiple gifts to different addresses?
Of course! For smaller orders (under 10 boxes), simply enter the addresses in the notes section when you place your order.
Can I customise the contents of my gift box/can I swap a product?
We have a couple of options for customising the contents of your gift boxes, firstly we’ve created a Build Your Own Gift where you can choose the contents and number of treats in the gift box. If you would like to swap one of the products in our curated gift boxes, please email us after placing your order with details of which product you would like to swap and we can arrange something for you.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all common forms of payment methods - Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Maestro. To make it easier for you, we have also added more payment methods - PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, and Klarna. We also accept payment via credit cards.
Can I personalise my gift?
Yes you can add a personal message for the recipient which will be attached to the inside lid of the box. For corporate branding options check out our corporate page.
How long will it take to receive my order?
If you are ordering directly from our website and selecting the free delivery option, your gift will normally arrive in 2-3 working days. If you wish to speed up the delivery, you can upgrade to either a 24-Hour Delivery Service or a Guaranteed Next Day Delivery service.
How much do you charge for delivery?
Shipping across the UK is free. Shipping outside the UK varies based on the country.
Do you offer international deliveries?
Yes, we do! We can send gifts all across the world - we have sent to over 40 countries to date. All the customs charges will be sorted out in advance so the recipient does not have to pay these. Please note delivery times and prices may vary depending on the location.
What are the last dates for guaranteed Christmas deliveries?
The last dates for UK deliveries are:
Tracked 48 - Sunday 19th December (11:00 am)
Tracked 24 - Monday 20th December (11:00 am)
Express Guaranteed - Tuesday 21st December (11:00 am)
Do you send tracking information so I can track my parcel?
Once we send out your order, you will receive an email confirming that your order has been fulfilled along with a tracking number for the order.
I need my order quickly, can I upgrade my delivery?
Absolutely. We deliver all our UK orders using a 48-Hour Delivery service. If you wish to upgrade your delivery, you can choose from a 24-Hour Delivery service or a Guaranteed Next Day Delivery service. You will find these options once you have entered the delivery details on the checkout page.
